Before I get all ranty, let me just say that I had a good relaxed weekend and I was actually looking forward to going into work this morning. I managed to see The Reader, which was okay but I don't think it captured the emotion or inner turmoil of the characters as well as the novel describes it.

In hopes of relieving some frustration I was going to meet the Boy after work but noooo, he went to go watch Twilight with his best friend & his girlfriend (grrrrr!)

Monday = fail!

Things not making me insane:
- TV catch ups: OTH, Californication, SPN
- New DVDs
- Swedish meatballs for dinner
- Mike Wazowski (if you've watched Monsters Inc. you'll understand)

So my sister came over for New Year's Day dinner and being the cultured siblings that we are (a new year's resolution she has) decided to have cheese and wine for dessert except, more wine than cheese was consumed. Needless to say, I am happily inebriated & am contemplating what movie to fall asleep to that won't induce scary messed up dreams (Pan's Labyrinth anyone?)

I am also thinking about doing that movies/books list thing that seems to be quite popular on my flist. Will make a mental note to start that tomorrow!

So last week was really long and crazy hectic. We had to deal with the opening weekend High School Musical 3, we've got the London Film festival still going and its Bond week this week, we're doing a POS study for Paramount which is strange and confusing and somewhat meaningless and I'm just glad we don't have to deal with a screening!

Oh. I work at a market research film company by the way if the above sounds like I obsess about films.

I did manage to attend the premiere of The Secret Life of Bees and Paul Bettany was there. He looks skinnier in real life. A review to follow later this evening if my unmotivated ass can muster up a coherent piece of something.

I miss my TV shows. I seriously haven't had time to watch anything so I have been avoiding my friends list at the moment just incase any spoilers pop up. But as soon as I'm all caught up I'm gonna spam like crazy with all my ramblings and squees.

Hee.

You know what I love about London?

The fact that its supposed to be autumn but it bloody feels like summer.

Hello LJ.. i'm back again.

HELL FUCKING YES!!!

I knew it. I knew it would come down to penalties and I could hit Ronaldo for missing his shot if he didn't already score a goal. But he actually cried when Van der Sar saved that goal and the whole team just rushed forward.

OMG... CHAAAAAAAMPIONS!! We won the double!!

Seriously.

This dissertation is driving me nuts. Whoever said that writing 10,000 words in one week was easy was highly mistaken.

So now I'm sitting in front of my TV watching a Sex and the City marathon and relaaaaaaaaxing. I can't wait for next week to be over. Friday and the end of formal education cannot come soon enough.

Work is of the suck so I'm taking a break from writing two freakin essays.. Out of 5,500 words I have written 1,780. And they both need to be handed in tomorrow. Boo me.

So whilst I procrastinate some more, heres some music:

-Santogold - Creator: My all time favourite HYPEhype! track at the moment. I heard it on TV from a hair styling advert and I've loved it ever since. Clearly not essay writing music as it always has me dancing around like a fool. Listen and Love it dammit. hee.

-Usher - Love In This Club (Video Version): For those that love the dance breakdown in the video, this is for you. Me and my friends made up some choreography during a previous dance rehearsal. Not too shabby in my opinion.

-Akon - Don't Matter (Calypso Remix): I randomly found this whilst looking for another Akon tune and uploaded it for my boyfriend because hes wanted it since forever ago. Nice summer track to samba to.

Right back to work.

I am all kinds of excited for this movie.

I've had the most laziest Friday ever and I'm not proud of it. After I woke up to eat breakfast I fell back asleep like half an hour later. Lazyass cow. The rest of the day was me doing what I do best when it comes to work - procrastinate. So I still have a total of 6,000 words to write by Wednesday on Victorian Fiction and Poetry. oh the joy.

I also have the ridiculous Girlicious song in my head so I thought I'd annoy you too share the love.

The choreography in the video is really simple but I guess it works for them. Natalie is totally working it big time and she knows it. I thought Tiffany would hog the spotlight, but I guess not and Nichole's extensions bug me.

If there was one reason to love living here its because of views like this. My boyfriend took me to Primrose Hill on our One Year Anniversary.

So yes, I suck at posting entries. As you can see its taken me 3 months to update. I really don't know why because I'm constantly checking LJ, but I never feel really compelled to post. Maybe because I don't think I'm all that interesting really but this is me just rambling random nothings whilst bored at work. I'll put it behind a cut, because Lord knows I'll probably ramble on about my life to a great extent.

Blah. Yeah, that was my life since April. Once I get back into the swing of things and my photoshop muse returns from its holiday, I'll post a few more things that will at least benefit everyone. Its nice to be back LJ.

Just to let you know I haven't gone anywhere, just real life taking over a lot of my time. I'm still here though, checking in on all of you. I will be back soon with a new layout, a couple more stories of my crazy self and random squeeing.

Just wanted to wish everyone on my Flist and in LJ land a very Merry and Happy Christmas before I'm too full to even move.

I love the holiday season: movies on TV everyday, enough food to feed a country, presents, people dressing up like Eskimos, okay you get the point, I'm not gonna break out into song. Yet.
